what we do for you
North Coast Inspections
![]() On booking your inspection with us, we will supply you with a building inspection agreement form which outlines exactly what is and what isn’t covered by a building inspection according to the Australian Standards. This eliminates any misconception of what is involved. North Coast Inspections is fully licensed to conduct completed residential building inspections and holds full professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance. A copy of the Certificate of Currency is available on request. We will arrange a locally based and highly qualified pest company to conduct a timber pest inspection for you, if required, and will handle all bookings with the real estate agent. On the day of the inspection, you will have two inspectors on site who are specialists in their own fields. One will specifically inspect and report on visual building defects and the other will inspect and report on timber pests. We welcome our clients on site for the inspection so that you can see the areas we inspect. An average inspection will take approximately one and a half hours. At the end of the inspection Ian is happy to discuss his findings. As Ian is a licensed builder by trade, not only will he identify any problems but he will also be able to offer possible solutions. We have an extensive list of local, reliable and professional tradespeople should you need any rectification work carried out. Our reports will also include digital photos of any problem area. This is beneficial if you can’t be onsite for the inspection or if you wish to use your report as a negotiating tool. Our reports are electronically generated and can be emailed to you within 24 hours of the inspection. In urgent cases, we can often have the report to you on the same day. |
